Saturday, March 28th. 9:30am to 1:30pm
Instructors: Jesse Cogswell and Mat Terwilliger
The Element is ETC’s entry-level board, their next-generation replacement for the old workhorse the ETC Express. This console is fast becoming one of the most commonly encountered lighting consoles out there.
While the Element has functional Moving Light capabilities, this workshop will focus on how to program with conventional fixtures, which is most of what this console would be used for. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to navigate the console, understand the interface enough to perform basic troubleshooting of the most common problems and be ready to start cueing!
Drawing on their vast work experience, our instructors Jesse Cogswell and Mat Terwilliger will share tips and shortcuts when preparing for and programming a show, which is a tremendously sought-after skill.
We are committed to making working in the arts accessible to everyone. If this cost is a financial hardship to you, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about scholarship opportunities.
