*LECTURE DATES ADDED!* Aerial Lift Trainings- Certification Course

  • Union Hall 312 Central Ave SE Minneapolis, MN, 55414 United States (map)

Saturday March 21st 9:30-11 am

“Genie” or aerial lift work is a something we take for granted in our industry. Often operators have no training beyond “you’ll be fine!”, even in some of the most rigorous and professional of venues. It’s a critical skill, and much of what we do would grind to a halt without the lifts and the personnel to use them. Increasingly and appropriately, though, venues are requiring their operators to be properly trained and certified. This is a good thing, as aerial lift accidents are not uncommon and are usually very severe if not fatal.

This course consists of two parts: a 90 minute seminar and a separate practical. You must have attended the seminar in order to participate in the practical. Proper SOPs for safety checks and operation will be emphasized, as well as legal and OSHA requirements.

This course is a certification course. After completing both sections, you’ll be a certified aerial lift operator for boom and scissors lifts. You’ll also likely learn some new ideas!

Cost: $50
