Tech Tools Talks Shop: Women Stagehands

  • U of MN Rarig Center, Nolte Xperimental Theater 330 21st Ave S Minneapolis, MN, 55455 United States (map)

Stagehanding was once a traditionally male occupation. Our panel of Women Stagehands are proof that the face of the job is changing. The nature of the job is a physical one and presents a new twist on gender roles and physical capabilities unique to our field compared to the gender politics of many other career fields. Join our panel for a discussion on the positives points and challenges of an evolving stagehand culture from the female perspective.

Stephanie Richards (Guthrie Lead Programmer)

Cindy Lindau (Freelance Stagehand)

Natascha Plouffe (Freelance Stagehand)
